Job Details

We're looking for a results-driven Senior QA Engineer to join our high-performing Scrum team. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software through rigorous testing practices and collaboration within the agile methodology.

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), providing valuable insights on testability and quality.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Developers, and other team members to understand requirements and user stories, translating them into comprehensive test plans and test cases.
  • Design, develop, and execute detailed test cases covering functional, integration, regression, and performance testing.
  • Utilize Python, Selenium, and Pytest to develop and maintain automated test scripts, ensuring efficient and repeatable testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools, and work collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolution.
  • Perform exploratory testing to uncover potential issues and improve overall test coverage.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and methodologies within the agile framework.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding test progress, results, and potential risks.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Strong proficiency and hands-on experience in Python, Selenium, and Pytest for test automation.
  • Extensive experience (4+ years) as a Software Tester, with a significant portion of that time working within Agile/Scrum teams.
  • Proven ability to create well-structured, comprehensive test plans and test cases from requirements and user stories.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
