On behalf of the European Institute of Management and Finance (EIMF), we are seeking to recruit an individual of high integrity and discretion for the position of Registrar / Admissions Officer.
EIMF is a higher education institute accredited by The Cyprus Agency of Quality Assurance and Accreditation in Higher Education (CYQAA). Following its accreditation in November 2022, EIMF has been developing and offering academic programmes (graduate and undergraduate) and engaging in partnerships with other academic institutions, while remaining committed to delivering high-quality research. In this exciting development phase, they are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead our Registrar and Admissions Office, overseeing critical academic and administrative operations that support students, faculty, and institutional compliance.
The Registrar / Admissions Officer will play a pivotal role in managing student records, admissions, enrolment services, and academic administration. This senior position ensures the smooth running of academic operations, regulatory compliance, and student services while leading a team that supports the student journey from application to graduation. The role requires strategic thinking, attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
I. Registrar Responsibilities
- Oversee student records management, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with data protection regulations.
- Manage course registration processes, including scheduling, enrolment systems, and conflict resolution.
- Develop and maintain the academic calendar, communicating key academic dates to students, faculty, and staff.
- Verify completion of degree requirements, conduct degree audits, and issue diplomas, certificates, and transcripts.
- Coordinate classroom and examination scheduling to ensure optimal use of institutional resources.
- Provide enrolment verification services and official student documentation.
- Interpret, implement, and enforce academic and institutional policies, ensuring compliance with EIMF, CYQAA, and Ministry of Education requirements.
- Supervise reporting on student enrolment, retention, graduation rates, and other academic data for internal and regulatory purposes.
- Oversee academic systems and technologies related to registration, grading, and records.
II. Admissions Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the whole admissions process, from application receipt to final decision.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing, evaluation, and decision-making for student applications.
- Collaborate with academic departments to establish clear admissions criteria and policies.
- Review scholarship applications and provide information to students on financial aid opportunities.
- Coordinate communication with applicants, serving as their primary point of contact throughout the admissions cycle.
- Collect, analyse, and report admissions data to support recruitment and strategic planning.
- Oversee support for international students, including visa and integration processes.
- Collaborate with the Erasmus Office to support student mobility and internationalisation initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
- An academic degree in a related field (Higher Education Administration, Business Administration, Educational Management, or other) will be preferred.
- Relevant experience in academic administration, registrar, or admissions roles, preferably within higher education, will be considered as an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of higher education regulatory frameworks, including CYQAA and Ministry of Education requirements.
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience with proven ability to supervise teams.
- Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT skills, with experience in student information systems and academic databases.
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in Greek and English (both written and spoken).
