Energy Commercial Operations Officer

THE COMPANY

On behalf of our client, a leading International Group of Companies operating in the Energy sector, we seek to recruit a self-motivated and high calibre individual for the position of
Energy Commercial Operations Officer
, to be based in Nicosia, Cyprus.

THE POSITION

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving the Company's commercial operations by building successful business relationships with clients, effectively handling contracts and other client-related processes, and collaborating with various internal and external stakeholders, under the guidance of the Energy Supervisor.

More specifically, the responsibilities of the successful candidate will be the following, amongst others:

• Manage direct communication and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring the timely and satisfactory resolution of requests related to energy services
• Handle, process, and oversee client contracts with accuracy and efficiency, ensuring all documentation complies with company policies and regulatory requirements
• Coordinate and finalize the energy supplier changes process in line with market regulations and internal procedures
• Ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely execution of all client-related processes, while contributing to the growth of the electricity portfolio and enhancing overall client satisfaction
• Identify opportunities for the development and implementation of process improvements, including process standardization and automation initiatives so as to strengthen the overall efficiency of commercial operations
• Prepare, update, and maintain detailed operational reports (e.g., contract statuses, KPIs, etc.)
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams (Regulatory & Compliance, Finance, Operations, Sales, Management) to ensure regulatory compliance and seamless service delivery
• Liaise with external partners, governmental and regulatory authorities (e.g., DSO, TSO, CERA) to support market operations and fulfill regulatory obligations
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the Energy Supervisor

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering
• Master's degree in Energy, Sustainability or a related field will be considered an advantage
• At least two (2) years of proven experience in a similar role / job position
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to negotiate effectively with clients
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships with clients, internal teams and external stakeholders
• Client-focused mindset and responsiveness to client needs and concerns
• Confidence in preparing and delivering presentations
• Great attention to detail in managing contracts, compliance documentation, and operational processes
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment by effectively prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in adherence to deadlines
• Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
• Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office

REMUNERATION
