Emerald Zebra Recruitment is inviting experienced Legal Specialist to explore this great job opportunity.  You will be join onsite our client as a Legal Specialist at their Limassol, Cyprus office.  Our client is a leading group of companies operating across Financial and Fintech industries with regulated entities under UK and EU supervisory authorities. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced legal professional to join a dynamic, fast-growing international organization.

The Role:

This high-impact role combines corporate, commercial, and regulatory legal responsibilities, providing support to senior management and cross-functional teams in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, and service contracts.
  • Support corporate housekeeping (company formations, board resolutions, statutory filings).
  • Conduct legal research on fintech, financial services, and DeFi regulatory matters.
  • Monitor legislative developments and provide summaries or recommendations.
  • Identify potential legal risks and escalate as needed.
  • Maintain legal documentation and support governance and compliance initiatives.
  • Liaise with external counsel and collaborate with cross-functional teams on corporate transactions and projects.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Law degree and qualification to practice in an EU jurisdiction (Cyprus, Greece, or equivalent).
  • Minimum 6 years experience in corporate, commercial, or regulatory law, ideally in fintech, payments or financial services.
  • Familiarity with EU frameworks (PSD2, AMLD, MiCA) is a plus.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working with external counsel and regulators.
  • Excellent English, both written and verbal; Greek is advantageous.
