As we continue to grow, we are seeking a Mid-Level Legal Counsel to support the legal needs of our diverse operations. The ideal candidate will bring a balanced mix of transactional expertise, cross-border legal knowledge, and a proactive approach.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take lead on real estate transactional work, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating sale and purchase agreements, lease and assignment agreements, and other related documents
  • Handle a broad spectrum of transactional legal matters across various sectors of the group
  • Provide legal support related to incorporation, licensing, and operational activities in multiple jurisdictions
  • Draft, negotiate, and review legal documents and contracts including:
  • Real estate-related documents (e.g., lease agreements, sale and purchase agreements) under supervision
  • Software development and marketing agreements
  • Master Service Agreements
  • Terms and Conditions
  • Licensing and distribution agreements
  • PSP agreements
  • NDAs
  • Employment contracts
  • Corporate agreements related to equity transactions (e.g., share purchase/subscription agreements)
  • Esport player agreements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across departments and jurisdictions to ensure legal alignment with business goals
  • Conduct legal research and provide actionable advice on cross-border operations and new ventures
  • Support intellectual property matters including trademark management
  • Assist with GDPR and general data protection compliance
  • Contribute to policy and internal control development across the organization
  • Stay updated on relevant legal and regulatory changes and advise the business accordingly

Requirements

  • Education:
    LLB (minimum) from a recognized university and admission to the Cyprus Bar Association
  • Experience:
    5+ years of legal experience, ideally within an in-house environment or law firm with exposure to real estate, corporate, and commercial law and employment law
  • Languages:
    Fluency in English and Greek (Russian is a plus)
  • Jurisdictions:
    Experience dealing with legal matters in the EU, Asia, Africa, and LATAM markets
  • Skills & Knowledge:
  • Solid knowledge of real estate transactional work and property law
  • Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks, data protection (GDPR), and IP matters
  • Ability to assess and manage legal risk in a business-oriented way
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Capability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities
