The Content & Translation Specialist ensures that all written content across our products, platforms, and marketing materials is accurate, consistent, and aligned with the brand's tone of voice.

Key Responsibilities
Content Quality & Accuracy
- Review and audit existing website and product content across all languages for accuracy, clarity, and consistency.
- Maintain a unified tone of voice and terminology across all user-facing touchpoints.
- Identify and correct translation or contextual errors in live environments.
Copywriting & Content Creation
- Write clear, engaging, and concise copy for new features, product pages, and in-app messaging.
- Support design and frontend teams by providing alternative copy solutions when translations affect layout or UX.
- Collaborate with product owners to ensure new features are well described and localised before launch.
Translation Workflow Management
- Manage the full translation process from end to end — preparing content, coordinating with third-party translators, monitoring timelines, and ensuring accurate delivery.
- Validate returned translations for accuracy, tone, and cultural relevance.
- Maintain a centralised translation memory and terminology base for consistency across products.
- Build and manage relationships with translation vendors and freelancers.
Cross-Department Collaboration
Work closely with:
- Frontend & Design:
to ensure text fits layouts and supports a seamless UX. - Marketing:
to assist with campaign copywriting, localisation, and messaging consistency. - CRM or Operations:
to review user communications for clarity and tone. - Product:
to align copy and translations for new features prior to release.
Linguistic & Cultural Adaptation
- Ensure translations are culturally appropriate and compliant with local language norms.
- Recommend localisation improvements to make content feel natural and engaging in each market.
- Stay informed on tone, style, and communication trends across target regions.
Preferred Profile
- 5+ years of experience in content management, translation coordination, or copywriting (tech, SaaS, or digital products preferred).
- Strong attention to detail, linguistic accuracy, and cross-cultural awareness.
- Excellent writing and editing skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is highly valued.
- Experience using translation management platforms (e.g., Lokalise, Crowdin, Smartling, or similar).
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments and manage multiple deadlines.
- Consistent, quality-driven approach to copy and translation in high-volume multilingual environments.
