We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Officer to join our team. Our ideal candidate enjoys working individually as well as working on team projects. Does this sound like you?

Finance and Accounting Officer's Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in a finance-related role (experience in online/digital companies is a plus)
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive approach
  • Able to prioritize tasks, work under pressure, and meet deadlines
  • A great team player, but also confident working independently
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities

  • Handling the invoicing and collection processes
  • Managing incoming and outgoing payments, including international transfers, and their filing
  • Handling correspondence with external partners (banks, partners)
  • Preparing monthly liquidity and payment reports and reconciliations
  • Assisting with VAT and tax reporting and staying up to date on regulations across the EU, US, and other key regions
  • Supporting KYC and onboarding processes for banks and EMIs
  • Collaborating with auditors and external advisors to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Performing market research for potential banking partnerships
  • Identifying and investigating discrepancies, providing insights to management
  • Monitoring the daily FX rates and provide suggestions for currency conversions
  • Helping with various ad hoc financial tasks
  • Reporting directly to the Group's Financial Controller
